Nicholas
Allen "Nick" Bayer
May 26, 1979 ~ May 8, 2009
It
is with heavy hearts that we announce our fellow teammate,
Nike Bayer, age 29, of Ellsworth, passed away after a tragic
accident on Friday, May 8, 2009. He was born in Red Wing,
Minnesota on May 26, 1979, to Randy and Sandra (Hanson)
Bayer. Nick loved the outdoors; especially fishing and hunting.
He belonged to the Ellsworth Fire Department and the Ellsworth
Hubbers baseball team. He loved baseball and football; with
his favorite teams being the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota
Twins. He loved spending time with his family and friends
and being down at the Rush River.
Nick
is survived by his parents, Randy and Sandy Bayer of Ellsworth;
a sister, Tara (Ben) Huppert of Prescott; loving girlfriend,
Dani Taplin of Ellsworth; maternal grandma, Marcella Hanson;
a niece, Addyson Huppert; and further survived by numerous
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death
by paternal grandparents, Harold and Delores Bayer; and
maternal grandparent, Darwin Hanson.*
Please
keep Nick's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
He will be greatly missed.
